This notice applies to the public website of Justine C. Lee, MD, PhD. It does not replace the privacy notices of UCLA, UCLA Health, REFACE Foundation, Qualtrics, Zeffy, YouTube, academic profile services, or social-media platforms linked from this site.

Information entered on this site

The professional inquiry form collects a name, email address, topic, and brief message. Submissions are held in private storage for automated screening, not delivered directly to Dr. Lee’s inbox. Relevant professional inquiries may be forwarded to Dr. Lee in a private Discord message; irrelevant submissions are deleted after screening. Automated screening may use a third-party AI service. Please do not include medical or patient information; appointment and patient-care selections are directed to the official UCLA Health pathway without storing a message here. Research fellow applications use the linked UCLA Qualtrics application.

Technical information

This static website does not currently use first-party advertising trackers or first-party analytics cookies. Like most hosted websites, the hosting and security provider may process ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, timestamp, and security events. External services

Links to UCLA Health, UCLA Profiles, Qualtrics, Google Scholar, ORCID, ResearchGate, YouTube, Instagram, Threads, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other external sites take you to services governed by their own privacy notices.

The Mission page links to Zeffy for donations. The Zeffy donation form, payment fields, and tracking technologies are not loaded on this website; they load only after a visitor chooses to continue to Zeffy. Donation and payment information is submitted directly to Zeffy under its own practices. See Zeffy’s legal, data, privacy, and security information. The fellowship application opens an external Qualtrics form; see Qualtrics’ privacy statement.

This website is educational and is not a patient portal. It is not intended to collect protected health information, provide medical advice, or handle urgent clinical messages. Use UCLA Health channels for appointments and patient care.
